What is this movie about, How is it different, And what the heck is a Troubadour?
And these are all great questions that we are sure everyone is asking! If you have other questions, we hope that you will send them our way and we will answer them but for now, just the ones addressed.
- What is this movie about?
The Troubadour is about an early 20’s girl who has come to the US from the UK. She is seeking out her nursing degree in Neonatal Intensive Care nursing. Having spent all of her time focused on school, she has let the thought of dating go by the wayside until she meets a mysterious fellow one evening in the library. As the two grow closer, there is also something dark growing inside of him (and no, it isn’t a vampire, werewolf, or alien).
- How is this film different?
Well in terms of Hollywood, we have a budget to begin with. If you were asking “why should I watch this film?” then we can assure you that with a cast and crew that are at the top of their game, this film will not let you down. From the director to the actors, to the fellow that makes sure no animals are harmed, we have hired only A list talent. From a more artistic stance, this film touches on every single emotion. It can fall into a variety of categories that span from drama to romance to comedy. We assure you that The Troubadour will leave you spellbound.
- What the heck is a Troubadour?
Again, a valid question. Our good friends at Google define a troubadour as a French medieval lyric poet composing in the 11th to 13th centuries, esp. on the theme of courtly love.

Your old school troubby might look something like this however rest assured, our film is set in modern day. We use the troubadour title as our main characters tell a story of winding and twisting “courtly love” between not just themselves but their lives.
Note: The Troubadour Team has nothing personal against vampires, werewolves, or aliens. In fact, our production team just had a Team Edward themed birthday party.
